This is what you will be doing:
As a mechanic in the Secondary department, you are the key to tomorrow's craftsmanship. You ensure that the transformer is wired correctly, according to the specifications and drawings provided by our customers. Installing cable ducts and performing mechanical work? That's no problem for you. Whether it's sawing, cutting, and assembling cable ducts, or bending and connecting pipes for the cabling, you make an impact! You also connect important components, such as cooling fans and panel cabinets.
What you bring to the table:
We are looking for someone with a completed MBO degree in electrical engineering. You work accurately, read drawings like the best, and are a real team player. And who knows, in the future you may be able to expand your skills by going abroad and helping to wire a brand-new transformer.
What you will receive:
At Royal SMIT Transformers, you will have the opportunity to perform responsible work with plenty of opportunities for personal growth. You can count on attractive employment conditions, including:
A salary between €3,000 and €4,000 gross per month (excluding a 20% shift allowance)
27 vacation days and 13 ADV days, with the option to exchange ADV days for extra salary.
PME pension plan
Travel allowance
Work clothing, personal protective equipment, and tools
Collective bonus
Tax benefits via FiscFree
Take advantage of our bicycle incentive program (Trappers) and earn rewards by using your bicycle more often.
Your commitment is appreciated! At Royal SMIT, if you feel good and we share that same pride, we will convert your employment contract to a permanent contract.
